I am Missy retired military and loving life. I have had my nook for 6 mos now, but I don't have a clue how to download apps from other website, just B&N. Please tell me how to download new apps from the market, especially the thumb keyboard. I look forward to learning new things and how to get the most out of it.

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Unfortunately the Nook Color, in it's stock form, can only download apps in the new Nook Color store (the app can be found on the recent NC update). To get access to the Android Market you'll need to look at rooting the NC. Information on this can be found in the "All Things Root" sub-forum from the Nook Color forum...
