It asks to introduce myself. Have a Droid Pro and a xoom. Looking for tips to control data for international travel. Is there a way to screen how much mail comes to the phone???? Want to be able to stay in touch with family.

Which network are you on and where are you planning on travelling to? Phone service, texting and data are all separate international services and are charged differently. If you don't need data over the cellular service, shut it off and connect only via wifi. That won't incur any charges.
