i just got my android and I love it .. but there are no bars at my house.. is there a app that I can get a better signial

Hello debelee and welcome to Android Forums. I know of no app that will improve the signal of your phone at your house. The signal strength is a physical thing that distance and obstructions dictate. You might try checking in with the users of your phone to see if there is anything you might do to increase your phone's ability to communicate such as a signal booster or an external antenna. I wish I had a better avenue for you to peruse.
