Hi

Kell29

Lurker
Hey guys,
My HTC Droid Incredible 2 fell out of my backpack (2-3ft) today and the screen shattered. I have it in a hard case with a screen protector. It didn't bounce or anything, just fell flat and was ruined. The touch screen still works surprisingly, but I can't read anything through the cracks. My contract is up in two months, and I couldn't wait to get rid of this phone even before it was broken. That's why I don't want to take into because Verizon will set me up with another year's contract with this phone. Does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks!

Welcome to Android Forums. You might search your local electronic repair shops to see if a new glass can be installed. If you are so inclined, you can purchase a replacement screen and do the repair yourself. You will find a walk through on most repairs for most Android models on youtube. Other than that, if you haven't insurance, you can take it to your provider and see exactly what you are up against.
Best of luck to you and thanks for joining AF.
