I'm new to this forum. I'm searching for advice on how to purchase an old android phone on ebay. Here's my story: I bought my daughter an android 2 global from Verizon in January 2011. She lost it last month and Verizon no longer makes it.
No insurance on phone. Verizon suggested i go to ebay. so the question is if i get a phone from ebay, what do i need to know before i buy it? Locked or unlocked? new or refurbished? what should i consider? I don't want to buy it, and then have Verizon tell me it can't be used.
