I'm a developer for Index Atlus and am in to the promotion of smartphone games. It's tough in Japan as the PSP and DS are still prominent and gaming on android is still not really accepted(even frowned upon?).
You'll see a few on the train going at it with their iphone but android users are mostly reading feeds or at most a puzzle game.
The reason I promote smartphone games is while I want the new NGP from playstation, the games cost too much and I'm not going to carry that thing around to work and back.

PES2011,asphalt 6,reckless racing, mini squadron
We just release our first Atlus title on android, snowboard kids , check it out! our next title will be from the megami tensei series but only in japanese...
