Hello,

i'm a noobie who's just got myself a galaxy note, i'm here to learn from your knowlege and hopefully get the most out of my device.

My main laptop is a mac, and i'm having problems connecting the two devices so i can transfer some music and video.

thats my first goal, anything else will be a bonus.

You'll get the best help for that in Samsung Galaxy Note - Android Forums. If you put your phone into storage mode, it should pop up on your desktop as a removable drive. Ask the folks in the Note forum how to do that. My menu choices might be a little different and I don't want to confuse you.
