I'm upgrading from an HP Pre 2, which I love to death but after washing it in the machine, it was time to let it go. I am liking what I see about android devices but can't love my new HTC Rezound. Quite a few apps are not available on the Rez such as Astraware's casino, EA's Yahtzee and Scrabble, Freetether, and a few others.

Is it worth it to exchange my Rez to a Galaxy Nexus? Or just root the Rez? Will rooting get me the apps I want? Should I hold off for a week to see if the Rez gets the ICS upgrade?
