Glad to have you here and might i also add that we can definitely help you when rooting you device.

You can search for you device here: Android Phones - Android Forums

And within the subforum for your device will be a separate forum headed: "Device Name - All Things Root", once in there you should be able to find the best assistance in rooting your device.


Lastly, ROM is personal preference, i know i love CyanogenMod, but it is all up to you!

If you need further help feel free to PM about what ROM to choose :)
