Hi. Name's Larry and I'm new. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 on the Virgin Mobile network that I recently updated to Android 4.4.2. Looking to root it to get my SD card write permissions back, so here I am. Nice to meet you all.

Ya. Not ready to jump into roms yet, but definitely want root access. Last time I rooted anything was an lg optimus v running ginger bread...Lol
 
Thank you Kate. Yes, I actually just posted there. Just wondering if those files listed will work or if I need newer/different ones.
