Hidden Statistics?

As some of you may know, I have a very slow Internet connection here. I have noticed a few times that when a page is loading here, that this image:
thread_dot_hot.gif

will be replaced with text along the lines of "You have X posts in this thread". Now, I may be a bit dorky, but I find this very interesting. Seeing where my time is spent on various threads ... I was wondering if we could get this info as a hover text?

I don't know how 'useful' it would be, but I for one think it'd be pretty cool. It's weird, but when this text shows up, it's the one time I wish the connection here was slower ;)

:eek:Oh, well, dang. I guess it just isn't compatible with dial up then... or I'm just an idiot... which is probably the right one.. seems to be there now.

Try to get the hover text once the page is loaded ;) and you aren't an idiot 9to5 your idea was so great it was already implemented :D you just didn't realize it
 
You may also want to try clicking the number in the 'Replies' column when viewing a list of threads. That shows you how many posts everybody in that thread has contributed, not just you.

Oh that is cool. :D I guess I always assumed that text was just blue to match the rest :p had no idea it was a link :D :eek:
