Hide Wi-Fi Network Symbol

[Android Question]

I just want to hide wi-fi network symbol from my android phone.

I don't want to let know other that i m using wi-fi password in my office.

If you are using the built-in wifi feature, your phone must be rooted to remove or change the notification icon. If you are using a 3rd-party app ands are on Jelly Bean or KitKat, you can go into Settings > Manage apps, and disable notifications.

Another option is to use an alternate launcher that allows you to hide the notification/status bar. Of course, that will make all notification icons go away. Apex and ADW both have this feature (probably others as well).
