I am not by any means a high mobile phone user , but have two phones on PAYG both galaxy Y , all of a sudden one of the phones battery drains from fully charged to turning itself off within 14 hours in standby,(without any activity) whilst the other in the same state last at least 5 days, both on 3 network , I notice that the wi-fi battery demand is 40% higher on the draining phone, good phone 5% bad phone 45% have checked phones against each other, and are set up the same. (Both on the same wi-fi address)
Have factory reset the phone , and even reloaded the firmware (odin) but it still remains the same , strange as it maybe this phone used to out pace my 2nd phone by a day. on a full charge, side by side standby test. I have also replaced the battery with an original so as to rule out battery derogation . The the old battery I feel is as good as the new one.
Would any reader be able to offer any advice ???
