High Contrast Mode for Android Messages App?

I've been using the new Messages for Web at work and it's great. I love the ability to enable dark mode and high contrast mode on the web, but those settings aren't currently available on the app. Any plans on adding these customization options in the Android app?

I'm hoping they add it, and an official Chrome extension. The Google Voice app has a setting for high contrast and it's nice, there is also an extension which is super handy. Maybe in due time...
