Data usage on OS services

I am using android 5.1.1 on a samsung galaxy J7 mobile. The OS services data usage is extremely high. For this month, it has already gone upto 2.5GB. I didnt update anything this month and its been the same for a long time. Please give a solution to this. Im using wifi at home and i rarely use mobile data. But my wifi has a data limit and it has constantly been overrun.
