High-End Small Android Phone?

Hi All,

I currently have a Motorla Droid X and have been looking to upgrade for over one month. The Droid X was an OK phone but it rebooted itself way too much for me (rooted, not rooted, various ROMS etc.) I would give it a 3 out 5 overall. Acceptable but I wouldn't say I was impressed. In the process of owning the phone for more than 2 years I learned that it was just too big for me. The width is acceptable but the height is not. Thickness is less of an issue than height and width for me. I looked at other phones such as the Droid Razr and Samsung Galaxy Nexus and those are even worse in terms of form factor. Both are too wide and too tall. Are there any Android phones whose size from top to bottom are no more than 4 inches and whose width is no wider than my Droid X? Specifically I am looking for a phone that matches the following:

- 4G LTE
- 64 GB micro SD or hard drive, I have a large music collection (~ 40 GB) that I want with me at all times and don't want to have to select certain albums to download in advance or worry about data overages due to streaming or worry about worse battery life as a result of streaming. Just want all my music on the phone so I don't have to worry about any of that.
- Dual core processor
- At least 1 GB RAM
- No more than 4" top to bottom This is probably the most important aspect for me
- No wider than Droid X
- Super AMOLED Display with Oleophobic coating
- Touch screen with NO physical QWERTY keyboard
Any recommendations are appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You can always get a64gb memory card! Providing you cam find a phone with all the other specs!

Which I'm not sure you will be able to do.....

I do not believe it is simply a matter of getting the card. My Droid III is rated to 32GB. I doubt if a 64 would work...Am I wrong? If so would it work on a Tablet rated the same??

They're usually "rated" to whatever the biggest card at the time is. 64GB *should* work

The Incredible LTE looks great. It meets most of the requirements I had. If it does work with a 64 GB SD card that would be icing on the cake. If that's the only requirement I have to give up I can live with that. One of the awesome things about Android is all the different choices of devices. I understand most people want the bigger screen but it is good to know there is at least one smaller high end android phone. Thanks again!

My phone is rated to take an up to 32 gig card, but when the 64 gig ones came out, some people at xda found that our phone can handle them no problem.

How about the Galaxy S Blaze? AFAIK its 4G, dual core, its just 4inch since it uses the same body as the original Galaxy S..

From the research I have done it appears a 64 GB micro-SD card *should* be supported. Many 64 GB micro-SD cards use a format called SDXC but if they conform to the SD 3.0 spec then SDHC (SD 2.0) readers should be able to access it. It might be the case that you have to put the card into your phone and reformat it for NTFS or FAT32 to get it to work. A number of web-sites and a number of people using different Android devices claim that it works as can be seen (for example) here:

Amazon.com: SanDisk 64GB Mobile Ultra MicroSDXC Class 6 Memory Card with SD Adapter - Retail Packaging: Computers & Accessories

If it does work I am not sure why most manufacturers list support of up to 32 GB storage? Maybe to avoid headaches so that you won't call them their support to get anything bigger working? I am not sure but I do hope that it will work..
