High RAM usage after installing games?

I recently downloaded a lot of games to my S2 Skyrocket. Before doing so my RAM never went over 400. Since installing games however my RAM has gone up significantly. It's usually upwards of 500MB. I clear my RAM through the Active Applications and Easy Task killer about 10 times a day. Just now my RAM was around 632MB of the available 784MB! That was with the internet browser open. I've checked the running apps but I don't see anything out of the ordinary running. Could I have some sort of spyware/malware?

Its really hard to say. At any given time the RAM will change depending on what apps are running in the background and what you have the phone doing at that time that you check. If you haven't done so, check the running apps using the phones menu> settings> applications> running apps and see what's running and how much RAM its using.

Those games may have some background service running, like GLU games have the updates thing, and other games have airpush ads running in the background (ads in your notification bar). Honestly you don't have to concern yourself with RAM on Android, because its not like Windows. In Windows where more RAM = good, in Android unused RAM is wasted RAM. It caches your most frequently used apps so that it loads quickly too, so if you have been playing a lot of games lately, its cached the games to RAM to open them quickly. If you try to open another app that may need a lot of RAM, it may take a little longer since the phone will unload some cached apps first but it won't be a problem.
