I've tried sbf adw ..basically all if them...they seem so blah esp go...all ya hv with go is a crap load of themes that just don't seem worth it..

It really depends on what exactly you're looking to do with the "look" and "feel" of your phone. I don't think anybody can really answer which is "best" because that would all depend on what exactly you're trying to do and how you want your phone to work best for your own needs.
I personally love LPP and liked Go Launcher as well. The primary reason I stuck with Launcher Pro Plus was due to 2 factors 1) Scrollable dock and 2) LPP widgets w/ transparent theme.
Go Launcher can be set up similarly to LPP's widgets with Colorize Widgets or Android Pro Widgets. And I like how Go Launcher's App Drawer is semi-transparent (I'd actually prefer a fully transparent app drawer). Only reason I never transitioned over to Go Launcher was simply wanting to wait for LPP's revision to be released (which has no timeframe, but I'm hoping will be soon).
