Hola

Hi everyone,

Today I made the leap after 3 different Blackberries in the last 4 years to the Motorola Atrix from AT&T. I am extremely worried about the learning curve. I am totally new to the Android OS (and yes I am well aware that my phone runs Motoblur). I have noticed that my battery is dieing quickly though, not sure how or why. I downloaded the Advance Task Killer and found 3-4 apps that I used but everything else seems kinda necessay. Anyway, I look forward to learning a lot from everyone!

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Uninstall ATK... you really don't need it! Android is smart enough to manage memory for both active and inactive apps.

To help extend battery life delete any widgets from your multiple home screens that you don't actively use. Also turn off auto dim and manually dim the screen to the lowest comfortable level.
