Help Hold apps position in app drawer

Ive been having this problem forever...Whenever I try to organize all my apps in the app drawer (as i don't use shortcuts on the main desktop) and save their position, after connecting the phone to my pc via usb or after just restarting it, all the apps return magically to their previous messy original position...how can i save their place permanently ? its so frustrating as I have lots of apps to look for...

Have you tried one of the folder organizer apps available on the market?

Alternative Launchers (Go, ADW, Launcher Pro etc) might also offer that functionality?

Hi thanks for reply, the galaxy mini is quite slow so I try to keep it as light as possible by not installing any of those 3rd party theme...
are you saying that there is no way of permanently saving the apps position? is it normal?

Not to my knowledge unfortunately. A folder organiser app would do it probably, without the need to install an alternative launcher, is that an option?

I think Go Launcher Ex can remember app position for you... Or, you may keep frequently accessed apps on homescreen for fast access. This way no need to manage the app positions.
