Hold the Mail Please

Looking for a way to keep my phone from checking for emails and scanning for wifi overnight.
Reason being, sometimes when I'm staying overnight somewhere and I don't have a wifi connection the phone continues to scan and receive emails and that seems to be draining the battery.
Isn't there a way to add this feature to the do not disturb. All do not disturb does is turn off notifications.

Tanks,
Pete

Well, either way I can't let my phone have WiFi on all the time, so I just turn it off and I would say do the same, turn off WiFi while you're not using it. Most simple, yet effective solution.
By the way, I prefer APC's. :D

I use Tasker to disable WiFi when I am out of range of my office networks. When I am again within range I enable WiFi.

This allows me to visit a customer site and not have my phone constantly testing their WiFi connections but I still have Mobile Data.

Hi, you can turn off wi-fi when the phone is asleep in the settings, and make sure your data is turned off. To turn off the wi-fi go to wi-fi, settings and you will find the option to turn off during sleep. Phil
