Holidroid Contest winners

Hey guys, props on the Holidroid Contest, can't say I imagined such a sick giveaway as what you guys have come up with. So from the very first Holidroid giveaway I wondered how you guys contacted the winner(s). The Facebook/Google+ winner I'd imagine would be contacted via said site, but how are the winners contacted that are selected via comments left on the official daily contest post. Reason I ask is because when I sign in to leave a comment it gives numerous sign in options, I choose to sign in with my Google account info so my name on there is not my name on Phandroid.

Out of curiosity I tried to see how I would go about contacting a random user who also left a comment and did not see how that was possible so I wondered how you guys are contacting the winners. I also wondered not only if I won, and possibly missed out on claiming my prize since I don't know how you would contact me, I also wondered who actually won said package. Would it be possible to announce the winners here on the board? Just for the sake of maintaining transparency and so we all know for sure if we did or didn't win?

Hey 916, not sure how often/if Phases checks the Contests forum so I've moved to the Suggestions Box & Feedback section (I know he frequents here). He'll be in the best position to answer your questions.

Just submitted a Phantip, lol. Hopefully I can get a public response here though. As im sure im not the only one wondering.

No matter how you choose to comment phandroid has access to the email you use to comment on articles. Be it: Disqus, google, guest, etc....

(not sure if you can contact any users from comments unless they have an account tied in to the profile they use to comment on phandroid, i have seen links to peoples facebook, twitter, etc. Mods do however have access to the email addresses people use to comment)

Would like to see winners announced in contest section as well though. Think it would really help tie AF and Phandroid together. :)
