Help Home button lag

Has anyone noticed the home key lagging a bit before working? When you exit an app by using the back key, the app closes instantly but if you press the home button there's a slight delay before going back to the home screen.

I've noticed a similar delay with the recent apps button too.

I had this on 4.4.2 and now on 4.4.3 too.

I have major lag on my recent apps if I haven't rebooted in a day or two, but I haven't noticed it regularly on the home key.
