home button not working

[TheGoldenBearr]

my home button is not working. I tried to reboot it and it works but only for a time. Before this happened i tried to root my phone. Has this ever happened to you? I am trying to upgrade it to Ice cream sandwich and I have the unzipped file in the sd card. Is this making a change? Please help me my phone is 2 weeks old. Sorry for my english.

Rooting your phone probably caused this. Especially if the button worked before you modified your software. See if going back to factory settings fixes it. If it does not than you may have a faulty touchscreen. It would be best to figure this out quickly so you can return your phone if necessary.
