I'm new to the forum. I have a question about the home button. It often makes a rather loud click like it is rubbing on the right side. I have owned this phone since early December of 2012. Around Christmas I took it to the Sprint store and asked the about it and they said that some do it and some don't and if the button is still functioning, then there isn't much they can do. I have read on this forum and others that this seems to happen to some and others don't have this problem.
My concern is for the longevity of the device. Software and design is incredible compared to my iPhone but cosmetically, it is not as good. My question is, is there a way to replace this home button without having to remove the screen? I looked at a tear down and I am not sure if you can get go the home button by removing the white plastic and the main board. I notice that there are many replacement home buttons online, that is why I am asking. Thanks for your help!
