Help Home Button Question

Just purchased phone today, and noticed when im on a home screen thats not the default one, hitting the home button dont bring me back to it. I have to hit it several times fast in order for it to go to default home screen.

Is there a setting im not seeing.

Next thing is long press home button opens my browser, is there a way to disable this.

Also, Is there a way to add more home screens. I know my other phones allow me to pinch screen and it zooms out of all home screens and allows me to add or delete.
 
All of that is dependent on the launcher. Download some free launchers from Play and see which one you like best. (Then support the developer and buy the paid version - you usually get more options that way also.)

I've used Holo, Go, ADW, Nova and a few others. I've been using Nova for a while because I prefer it, but you might like something else better.

The launchers that come with the phones are usually about equal to the worst ones you'll find on Play.

First thing i did was installed Go Locker back onto the phone.
