Help Home Button wakes screen problem . . .

Using Nova launcher on my Note2 and found that after I turn off the screen or lock the phone when I touch the "Home" button the screen unlocks and the screen comes on.

I do not have any kind of screen lock on my phone because that interferes with S-Voice and my bluetooth headset.

How I noticed this problem was when I put the phone in my bag with the screen off the screen would suddenly come back on. The only way I believe that could happen is that I am putting enough pressure on the "Home" button when I insert the phone in the pocket in my bag.

Have not been able to find a way to disable the "Home" button function that causes it to turn the screen back on. Can anyone out there help me figure out how to disable the screen wake-up by pressing the "Home" button.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It isn't your launcher. I'm using the Samsung launcher, and I have that problem too. Haven't found one setting to disable it.

Sorry guys. That is the one thing, that I had been searching for since I first purchased the Note 2 (near launch) that I found out cannot be changed.

It's built into Samsung Android phones. Part of me thinks that there was a way to stop the home button from turning the screen on, via root, but I never bothered to go that route.

I wish I could say that there's a solution, but this is one function that can't be changed. This was the only function that I absolutely hated, when I switched over the Note 2. All my other complaints, I found easy solutions for.
