Home button

Does anyone know of any apps that will allow me to return to the same home screen page when I press the home button. At the moment, every time I hit the home button, I am returned to the last screen of widgets/apps that I was on. However, I want to return to the same screen each time I press the home button, not the last screen that was active.

On Jelly Bean you just hit the home button twice.

Almost every third party launcher has this feature. Considering we don't know your phone, try either Go Launcher EX or Holo Launcher for Gingerbread devices, while Apex or Nova Launchers for ICS and JB devices.

If you like to totally customize everything, try ssLauncher.

Agreed, a custom launcher would do you well. Go Launcher, Apex Launcher, Launcher Pro, and Nova Launcher all work well.
