Help Home on Chrome

[nebler]

Hi, is there a way to add a "home" icon on the chrome browser so I can just press that to go straight to Google from any webpage I'm looking at, rather than having to click the three dots on the right of the address bar, then bookmarks, then Google?

Thanks

Do you want Google for search? You can search directly from the address bar.

or if you still want a home button go to settings (spanner in top right corner), settings, appearance, should be an option to click for home button to be displayed.

No need to feel silly, I'm discovering new things daily it seems!

No spanner or option for home button in settings.

I think these instructions are for the desktop version, not the phone/tablet version.
