Help 'HOME' on my notification bar?

Hello
I just got simple mobile service on my Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and soon after that the word 'HOME' has been on my notification/status bar.

It is there when the bar is not dragged but when dragged that notification is still there.

I have restarted my phone but nothing changed? Any advice or help would be appreciated!

I believe you are referring to sim card that your mobile has named as home. The mobile does this on dual SIM phones so we know on which SIM  the call is coming on. Send a sreenshot so we can confirm that I am right.

Here is the screenshot. Is there anyway to remove it?
Thanks

So this happened right after you put your sim card in the phone right? If yes then I was right in what I said. Try going to settings>more connection settings>sim card manager
to change home to anything else.

Yeah it happened right after I inserted the sim.
I am looking for the sim card manager but couldnt find it anywhere. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.
Thanks

I have a Samsung mobile too. The saying might vary with different phones. Check some other place I am sure you will get the setting I talk of. On some phones, the first page of the setting menu shows the SIM card manager option.

So can we close this thread.? It will only make sense as any other person having the same problem would be able to use the suggestions given in the thread.
