Help Home screen changed

Last night for no apparent reason my home screen has changed. It used to be the leftmost screen but the little house icon is now on the fourth screen from the left and pressing the home button takes me to that screen.

I have no idea how that happened. I just noticed it has changed. I have searched for a solution and the best I can find is a suggestion that I drag the new home screen to the left but that means it will not have the icons I want and I would also be happier knowing why it happened in case it happens again.

Any ideas anyone?

I had my home screen change a couple times on me too - I think sometimes if it's in your pocket, it changes.

Just go to a blank area of screen, hold it down - you should get an option to chose your home screen - the different "slides" appear. Then chose your home screen.

Thanks. What I get is a little house symbol at the top of the screen and I tried clicking that and hey presto it changed my home screen - thanks.

The house actually looks like an arrow and points at the trash symbol so I had assumed it would delete it.

Last night, I noticed that the weather widget that was previously on my home screen was missing and I had to add it back. Very strange.
