Help Home screen icons

I got a nexus 7 for Christmas and am in the process of setting it up.. but I cant for the life of me figure out how to make web page icons on the home screen.. It would be so much easier to access my frequent pages through that rather than bookmark page ..HOW do I do it???
 
I really don't think you can make web pages into icons on your home screens. Your best bet would be to maybe look on the Play Store for something of the sort.
 
Just open the apps' scroll over to the widgets and click on the bookmark widget. Then you can select a bookmark to show as an icon.

actually I just got off the phone with "Google play support" (took 3 phone calls to get an answer). .but when you ahve the web page opened.. hold down the address and an option will pop up to make a home screen icon!

Now I have to figure out which flash player to download. .I like playing the facebook games and it needs flash
