So if you install Nova, the default launcher of the S3 will be replaced/overwritten?
Yes.
Go LauncherEx is also very popular.

Not really. Touchwiz well still be on the phone, you'll just use the other launcher instead.
But you can choose to remove the TW?
Can I switch between TW and Nova?
Which is better? The Nova or Go LauncherEx?
Can I switch between TW and Nova?
Hmm unfortunately after a day of using Nova launcher.. I encounter the same stupid lag problems
Is this the phone or ICS?
Argh so annoying!
Are you guys talking about US or international version? The international version looks very snappy even with Touchwiz UX.

Install "Home Switcher" from the market to switch between Nova, Go, and TW easily.
I imagine the US version. Phonedog did a comparison between the US (AT&T) with the 2gb ram & dual core snapdragon vs. the international version with the 1gb & quad core exynos and they said the international version had less issues with this.
It's not "Home Switcher with Froyo", it is "Home Switcher for Froyo". Froyo is Android 2.2. You have Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). You should use the regular Home Switcher app. When you set, for example, TW as the default, but select/launch Nova, when you press the home screen it reverts back to TW. Btw, I installed Home Switcher with Froyo. What is its difference with the standard HS?
Not that I have a S3, yet, my DX is the same. Quite annoying. Hope the S3 isn't like that.Yeah this is definitely not s3 exclusive. It happens quite often on my Droid X and it annoys me like no other.

This seems to be an android problem. HTC seems to have this issue with Sense as well. I hate it with a passion. This is one of those things that a common person would think that they wouldve resolved by now. Looks more and more like I will be waiting to see what the iphone5 looks like before I make a decison between Evo LTE, GS3, and Iphone5. No need to rush and upgrade from the Evo if the latest and greatest androids still have the same old issues..smh..![]()
