Home screen/start up screen

Hi all,

I know my A5's actually a mobile phone, but unlocking it to make a call or send a message is less likely than unlocking to use the phone's other capabilities. So, when I do unlock, I have to cancel the dial screen. Is there a way to set the phone up so that when I unlock I get the Home screen?

Thanks,

Ian

You should state the following:
1 - Is your phone still under warranty? If under warranty, take to vendor to check.
2 - Did this happen when you first got your phone? If not, can you either hard reset or uninstall whatever app you installed. Check what you don't want.
3 - Did you set the phone so that the dial auto start-up? You should know if you changed the settings or not. What is the phone brand?

Hi Dannydet/ABC,

Danny - will have a look at that.

ABC - 1. No. 2. Yes, as far as I can remember. I certainly wouldn't have chosen that set up. 3. See 2. It's a Samsung A5. I've looked in settings and can't see a facility for selecting the home page instead of tjhe dial page.
