home screen stuff

I see you can customize the non scrollable icons at the bottom of each screen. Treat that area like another page of screens... hold an icon, and move it to/from that spot. Limit is 5 icons.

I also see you can add extra screens, up to 7 total by "zooming out", which lets you arrange screen order, and add up to two more "blanks" to the 5 already on the phone.

Haven't seen that before... I like it... used to using the 7 screens on my old Metro/LG Optimus-M MS690

(edit - my bad, you can have six fixed icons on the bottom, not five, but the APPS icon cannot be removed)

Nop, still cant. I long press any window and the menu comes up (Or click the + on the top right of the screen), I can see the screens at the top and at the bottom I have the "Apps, Downloads, Widgets, Wallpapers" In this menu I try clicking the windows up top and i get no options at all, to remove or anything else.

your doing it wrong first pinch an empty window and it shows all at once than u can long press

Thanks, that got it working, also just realized if you pinch out it removes all the apps and stuff and you see the background only, pretty cool.

One small issue I have is with my Optimus M I could touch one of the four buttons at the bottom to turn the screen on if it was off/locked.

Apparently I can't do that with my Motion, I have to hit the power button to light up the lock screen each time. Or do I?

Yea i know i still haven't gotten used to this, its a lot more comfortable to hit the bottom buttons.
