Home screen transition effects?

Whatever happened to the galaxy S5 home screen transition effects. There was a home screen setting on the S5 that allowed you to cycle through the pages on your home screen continuously without stopping at either end of your home screen pages. Now when I go to the far left or far right, the pages stop scrolling and I have to go in the other direction to get to where I want to go.

Is the home screen transition effect setting apart of the S6 or was it removed?

I am rather disappointed in the transition and scrolling on the S6. Scrubbing to quickly scroll across screens is gone and tapping the dot that represents the target screen that you want to go to now only move the display once screen at a time. The user now has to scroll through each screen one by one or tap the dots several times. To make matters worse, infinite scrolling is gone too. This is inexplicable for such a high end device.

I just checked out what you we're talking about and you're so right. That will annoy me after awhile. I've noticed that Samsung wants to be so much like the iPhone that they made those changes to resemble how the ios operates. Even when you edit the apps in the apps menu they now have the right hyphen instead of the X just like in the ios.

Then there's the design of the phone, an iPhone 4-like back and an iPhone 6-like bottom where the speaker, mic, and headphone jack resides. Samsung should stop trying to emulate and create their own design language. They should at least give us the choice to choose between the new interface which is a step back in a couple of areas or use the old interface that their Samsung android costumers are used to.

I can't believe how much Samsung change the S6 from the S5. It's very disappointing. The transition effects are gone the SD card is gone and the battery that don't remove don't last half as long as the S5. Even most of the themes so fae stink too. So far not so happy with this device as I have been in the past with samsung. I've owned all but the S4. This one is not as user friendly as the other have been. Guess if they wasn't trying to copy the iphone it would have been so much better.
