Homemade keyboard dock for my N2

The N2 is my first smart phone. I found it was hard to use relaxing at home. I wanted a BT keyboard and a way to attach it to the phone so the two could be handled similar to a notebook computer. Here is my best effort so far. It holds everything securely enough so it can be moved around similar to moving a laptop with the screen open. Once you have the plastic parts and Velcro all you need for tools is a pair of sissors to cut the Velcro strips. If I see a way I'll make a version that's simpler and easier to make than this one so more people can consider making their own. Enjoy

My impressions after 2 months with this phone. I never wanted a "smart phone", I wanted a pocket computer with mobile internet access. The combination of screen size and processing power puts the N2 in that catagory IMO. I would want to carry this device even if it didn't have phone service on board because of how well it does everything else.

The keyboard is by Targus, AKB33US. keyboards of similar size should work the same in the dock. For reasons I don't fully understand changing from the samsung to the BT keyboard is clumsy. I ended up getting an app from the playstore called keyboard helper pro that helps the BT keyboard behave normally. I don't know if the problem is android, samsung, Targus or some combination. Once I figured out the necessary button presses with the app, switching between keyboards works okay and the Targus keyboard is well behaved.

The point of the post is that it isn't necessary to wait for a commercial product to have a keyboard dock. There might be other, better homemade solutions than mine.
