Homescreen problems

I use Honor 8, and I accidentally did something to trigger a shortcut to some homescreen settings. I thought to try out some of them, but now I can't find out how I got to the shortcut. Anyone know what it is? It is the one that for example changes how the animation when you swipe from one page to another on the homescreen is.

Try putting your thumb and forefinger on the screen and bring them together in a pinching motion. I believe that should trigger the menu to let you change wallpapers, widgets, transitions, and other homescreen settings.
