I recently acquired the new HomTom HT6. I spent two days at the Verizon store trying to get it activated but to no avail. Has anyone successfully activated the phone here in the U.S.?

Two days at Verizon trying to activate a Doogee Homtom to no avail? Frankly I already knew the answer...

It's just not going to work with Verizon, period! Even on GSM/WCDMA networks like AT&T, it's 2G service only. Better stick with a Moto Droid Turbo or something.
This thing is definitely a phone for China, and maybe other places in Asia, and probably Russia as well.
