Hone screen rotate?

Is there any way to setc it so the home screen rotates to landscape? I thought this ws s cooked into ics. Thanks.
 
OK, my turn to ask a similar question: what wallpaper resolution do I need to use so that the wallpaper takes up the entire screen in both landscape and portrait orientations? I see that certain wallpapers do this, like the ones Samsung included, as well as the ones various launchers use. But the 1920x1080 wallpapers in my gallery don't do this.

I've searched all over and can't find a solution. Please help.
