I've had the Honor 6X for a little over a week now and I know how important the camera is to a lot of folks. For a $250 smartphone, the camera actually takes a pretty nice photo.
It struggles in anything but daylight. Indoor lighting is tough and like most phones, low light is terrible. The secondary 2MP camera is a little gimmicky (wide aperture mode doesn't work all that well), but sometimes it produces favorable results. Would have rather they gone the Honor 8 route and used the camera to improve dynamic range though.
Was surprised the 8MP front facing camera was so nice, actually better than the Galaxy S7's or LG V20's. Who would have guessed?
Either way, here are some photos I took recently. For more, check out my full review here. Let me know what you think.
