Hooking it all up, threading that needle
Having read loosely through your stickies I am surprised that their is no mention off blog post's, topics, about putting a development environment together. You see I am almost convinced that my (R cannot be resolved) post is quit possibly the result of a poorly put together environment.
What I have done has been learn't from watching youtube videos where everything is done and it all works happily ever after. Iam affraid this is not true as I have followed their video's closely and they dont work.
How To do it or not do it?
Download and install the latest Java JDK
Download and unzip Eclipse Kepler
Download and install the Android SDK
Run the skd manger to link up and download sources
(aka https://sl google dir)
Add android to Eclipse two plugins.
Iam sure I have missed something out here or not got them in the right order but it is the only way so far for me that I can seam to hook it all up.
Some Youtube vid's show android buttons in eclipse, I haven't figured out how to do these yet, or they may not work in newer versions.
Perhaps some one has written a detailed(Uptodate) blog post some where about setting up such an environment. If no one has then some one write one plz.
Do you know of any good up to date howto's, Blog post's, Youtube?

My aim is to do HelloWorld and then add to that program till I get the program that I want running on my phone, I am not so intersted in the google marketplace yet as my app would be of use only to me.
