Hey Guys,
In first few months with my Note2 the battery was an absolute tank i am a heavy user and it would get me though the day no worries.
Now days this is how it rolls:
imgur: the simple image sharer (screen brightness pretty much everything off)

That was only 45 minutes but it will drain just as fast as long as you use it, even seems to drain when the screen is off and nothing appears to be running.
It also seems to not charge anymore when plugged into wall charger and im using the phone it used to charge very fast off wall charger now it is slow.
Are they any steps i can do to try and fix it without doing a factory reset as that would be an inconvenience atm.

I have had the 4.3 update sitting there for months but i have only read bad things about it, should i be giving that a go now?
