What if you buy an unlocked CDMA phone from ebay, will VM let you use it on their network? I don't see why not. It's not like they're making money off of phone sales either way...

No, you can't do that. They only allow you to use VM USA branded phones on their network... with the exception of one of the Sprint phones (I don't remember which one).

That was a misunderstanding. They said you could use the Optimus S, S meaning Slider as opposed to Sprint like everyone thought.

That's incredibly lame. They should let users use any CDMA phone. Users are paying for no-contract monthly service...
