Hotmail app alternative

I have been looking for an app to read my hotmail, I have the official hotmail app but I really hate that it doesn't sync emails older than 30 days, I want access to all my email like the gmail app.
I have looked on Google and this forum.

I have seen apps that use hotmail's gui but they are just links to the mobile version and they don't have notifications.
Any suggestions?

You can also try setting up your Hotmail account as an Exchange account. See the instructions here. The instructions may vary slightly depending on your phone.
