Hotmail question

Ok sorry if this is a dumb question......I have hotmail and want to kow if there is a way to get a little number thing on the folder to let me know how many emails i have.

Not stock, IIRC. I think that can happen ird party email clients (like K-9?) or else a third party launcher (like LPP).

Using the stock e-mail messing client here and am getting the number on the folder with hotmail.
