also, can someone plz explain what does "size to retrieve emails" mean

The easiest way would be to download the official hotmail app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hotmail.Z7&hl=en , then just type in your email address and password and you're done. If you mean setting it up in the in built email app, then I can't really help.
