Hotmail Synch

I just bought a new Samsung Stratosphere. It came preloaded with the app to access hotmail. There's a problem with my hotmail synching between my PCs and the Stratosphere. The most annoying problem is that hotmail messages that I delete from a PC are not being deleted from the Stratosphere, so I have to delete unwanted messages twice - once on the PC and the second time on the phone. What am I missing?

You don't need an app on your phone in order to access Hotmail or syncrhonize between your PC (running Outlook or Windows Live Mail). You can even delete the Hotmail app if you want. (You can always download it later if you want it.)
