Just upgraded from 1.6 to 2.1 on my X10 and now cant get Hotmail to connect up. 02 UK Contract account. I have a BT Yahoo account working fine on it, but Hotmail refuses to work. O2 have sent me the settings and I have put them in manually too, still nothing works. The phone just sits for hours with the message "checking incoming server settings" Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a few email accounts and i use Maildroid, a free email app

Never had any issues, however i did have problems with the default mail app and hotmail on 1.6. so maybe worth you trying maildroid.
