hotspot capable phones for virgin mobile

what all phones are hotspot capable for virgin mobile phones???
 
Almost any Android phone from Gingerbread on is hotspot-capable, whether with an internal function or an installed app. The question is whether Virgin blocks the connection. If they do, it's done at their office, so there's nothing you can do at the phone to change it. (More and more carriers are blocking tethering unless you pay for it.)
 
VM doesn't and the only phone the advertise to do it is the iPhone 4s and its 3g

get an android and root and custom ROM it

Thanks for the reply to assist with this question. Please keep in mind the post date of the question (This topic was last replied to in January) when replying. It's unlikely this person will ever check for another response in this thread at this point. :)
